Micro-welded? Does it hurt? The welding process is 100% pain free. I always take your safety seriously! I will ask you look away while I am welding to ensure you do not hurt your eyes, and always use a barrier between your skin and the zap.
How permanent is permanent jewelry? This is entirely dependent on the person! The name "permanent" is a little bit misleading. Will your piece stay on forever? No, probably not, but it should last at least a couple of years! The amount of time someone has permanent jewelry on is based on the individual's activity levels, how they take care of the jewelry, and how long they want it on! You need to be aware of the jewelry. You can keep if it gets caught and it's important not to yank if you feel it!
What materials do you use? We currently offer a variety of choices in 14k gold filled(Yellow & Rose) and sterling silver. These materials should be long lasting and tarnish resistant. Please keep in mind each individual’s body chemistry and activity level can affect level of wear.
What exactly is gold filled? Gold Filled jewelry is the closest you can get to solid gold without it being solid gold. It is a lot more affordable. It has over 100 times more gold than gold plated jewelry. Basically, gold filled has a much thicker layer of gold than gold plated jewelry.
What if I need to remove my permanent jewelry? Your jewelry can easily be removed with sharp scissors or wire cutters. Make sure to cut the ring of the weld site, if you will want it rewelded on at a later time. There is a small rewelding fee.
Can I wear my permanent jewelry through TSA? Yes, there should be no issue wearing your permanent jewelry through TSA. The metals used are nonmagnetic and should not set off the detectors. In the rare event they do, you would just need to show the jewelry to security.
Do you offer any kind of warranty or refunds? I do not offer any refunds or exchanges. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen jewelry. I offer a 30 day warranty- if your piece breaks at the welding point, I will fix it for free. Chances are, if the weld does not break within 30 days, it is very secure. I can fix any other broken chains and re-weld, but it may be subject to an $8 reweld fee. If your piece by chance breaks, KEEP YOUR CHAIN! I will not replace or refund any lost/broken jewelry!!
